location, privacy and security

So, i download this app and then open it to see a list of counties - Canada is already checked off... so, a flag goes up - why does a free-app program care where i am?

Okay, so then i go to the next screen and see the first app advertised. i click it to go to the app store and see its rating, etc. instead, i end up looking at a Safari window that tells me "this app is not available in your area... but here are some other possibilities" and it lists 5 or 6 kids games.

So, since you know i am in Canada already, why, why, why are you showing me apps n/a in Canada???

If there was ONE reason i could use as an excuse to explain you violating my privacy (location services), it would be that you dont wamt to show me apps not available in my region. Clearly, this is not why you are collecting this personal info without my permission.

i have several free-app apps and this is the fist issue i have had like this.

finally, i dont play childish games. the ONLY games on my phone are checkers and scrabble. So, at least you are not target advertising to me... or your tool/program is just really weak.

Please take steps to protect my privacy, Also, security is important to me.
